Product Summary: This Chinese jade  pendant, in spinach jade, circa late 18th century, Qianlong era  in bat form is Known as a symbol of happiness, the sound of the Chinese pronunciation of bat “fu” is considered similar to that of the sound of the term for good fortune “fu” therefore the auspicious symbol for bat is often considered to be known for happiness and good fortune.  Carved in spinach jade nephrite, this well-articulated example may be compared to other examples done in white jade ex. Christie’s sale 3720, lot 3019.  This example acquired from a long term collector of Asian art
