Original Elenore Abbott Illustration Art Drawing

Elenore Abbott (1875-1935) was an American book illustrator. She is known for illustrating the Belle Epoque era 20th editions of Robinson Crusoe, and Grimm’s Fairy Tails.  

This work watercolor and pencil on glazed paper mounted on board. Signed Elenore Abbott lower right corner. 

Size: 15.25 x 11.125 the matting, the image 13.75 x 9.5 

Condition: The matting on front adhered to the margin edges with the matting with breakage and loss. The illustration with staining, and surface cuts. 

The drawing in need to be re-matted, the drawing unframed.
